Happy new year to everyone.  Time is here for resolutions and new beginnings.

Winter has been slow in coming to this part of the woods this year.  Still waiting for all that snow fun (and maybe "not so" fun.) 

Did you re-purpose your Christmas trees?  Make a "nature" tree.  Secure it outdoors after taking it down and decorate it with all sorts of goodies for the birds: peanut butter frosted pinecones with seeds, apple or other fruit bits, popcorn chains and suet cakes.  You can even add a vessel of water within the limbs.  Squirrels will look for some goodies too.  In the Spring add bits of yarn or tuffs of hair from your hairbrush for the birds to use in building their nests.

Natures Cabin is now closed for that "winter hibernation".  Opening will be in April or May depending on mother nature.  Remember, you can still schedule an appointment to shop the store even during this down time...just call.

Seasonal Operation

Natures Cabin is a Seasonal Business and is open three seasons of the year.  We open in the Spring of the year and wait to close for the winter just before Christmas in order to offer a unique variety of the winter-season decor as well as fresh trees.

This down time is used to catch up on business processes, review the year's activity and most of all to look toward the coming season.  Display and product revisions evolve during this "reinvention" time and are.....always changing.  Be sure to visit in the Spring each year to see the results!

Natures Cabin is flexible and opens sometime in April or May depending on what mother nature has in store for this area... which can be unpredictible.  I've been known to open up by appointment during the down time too, so if you are in the area contact  me to see if that is possible...as long as you are willing to excuse the "cleaning" mess!  Check each spring season for updates on our yearly opening dates.

Allegheny River Shops- This is a group of local shops extending on a 7-mile stretch of the beautiful Allegheny River in the scenic Tidioute valley.  They are all "oh so unique" but yet compliment one another.

The Allegheny River Shops usually have two promotional "Trails" a year: Juneberry in the spring and Winterberry towards the winter season.  We invite you to watch for dates and join us for drawing prizes, refreshments and give-a-ways!

I've created a little nook in the corner promoting simple wellness.  Take a moment to relax with a cup of delicious herbal tea (and possibly a "healthy" sweet indulgence) in the soothing atmosphere of Natures Cabin.   An introductory selection of healthily beneficial teas and aromatherapy oils is offered.  Browse through the aromatherapy "deck" and view reflexology charts for basic information on the wellness benefits available.

Natures Cabin is able to accept Visa, Master Card and Discover credit cards and personal checks with proper I.D.   We also have a layaway plan.

Gift Certificates are offered.

Due to the unique, one-of-a-kind theme of our inventory, our policy remains "No refunds or exchanges."

Natures Cabin does not, at this time, offer internet or mail order sales.  We currently are a physical store front retail business only.
